Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Ellipses Audio

 

1. Overview This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are managed for services provided by Ellipses Audio (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian law.

 

2. Change of Mind Due to the nature of our services, which are time-based and customised, we do not provide refunds for change of mind. This includes: Deciding not to proceed with a booking Dissatisfaction based on personal taste or creative preference Failure to attend a scheduled session

 

3. Deposits All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are required to secure bookings and compensate for reserved studio time. Deposits may only be transferred to a rescheduled session where sufficient notice is provided in accordance with Section 4.

 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session. Where sufficient notice is provided, deposits may be credited toward a new booking. If less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit will be forfeited. Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may result in the full session fee being charged.

 

5. Refunds for Services Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law, including where: The service is not delivered with due care and skill The service is not provided as agreed The service is unfit for its intended purpose Where a major failure occurs, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement service, or compensation. Where a failure is minor, we reserve the right to remedy the issue within a reasonable time.

 

6. Creative Services Disclaimer Music production, recording, mixing, and mastering are subjective creative services. Differences in artistic opinion or personal taste do not constitute grounds for a refund. We provide a limited number of revisions as outlined in our Terms and Conditions to ensure client satisfaction.

 

7. Digital Deliverables Once final audio files or digital products have been delivered, no refunds will be issued except where required by law. Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving work during the revision process prior to final delivery.

 

8. Late Arrivals Sessions commence and conclude at the scheduled booking time. Late arrival does not extend the session duration and no refunds or credits will be issued for unused time.

 

9. Studio-Initiated Cancellations If Ellipses Audio cancels or reschedules a session due to unforeseen circumstances, including equipment failure or illness, clients will be offered either: A rescheduled session; or A full refund of any payments made for the affected session

 

10. Third-Party Costs Ellipses Audio is not responsible for refunds relating to third-party services or products, including but not limited to: Purchased beats or instrumentals Session musicians Distribution platforms

 

11. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
